This study aimed to evaluate different methods of grafting and time of obtaining nursery of pomegranate tree ‘Wonderful’ under the rootstock ‘Molar’. The split-plot scheme, with the grafting methods in plot: cleft grafting, side slit grafting, patch budding and inverted T budding and sub-plot four periods of evaluation, 45, 60, 75 and 90 days after grafting, in a completely randomized design, with four replications and five nursery per experimental unit was used. Grafting is a method that can be used to propagate the pomegranate tree ‘Wonderful’. The methods by cleft grafting and side slit grafting showed higher budding efficiency of the nursery pomegranate tree. Grafting by budding patch is not viable for propagation of the pomegranate tree, to promote low percentages budding efficiency. The grafting method in side slit provided to the nursery of pomegranate tree greater growth and dry matter accumulation. Nursery of pomegranate tree ‘Wondeful’ can be produced in 75 days using the methods of cleft grafting or side slit grafting.
