The red mombin (Spondias purpurea L.) is a tropical fruit tree belonging to the family Anacardiaceae. Among the main obstacles to its development as a commercial culture: lack of a system of cultivation, inadequate post-harvest management of fruits and, especially, the absence of selected clones under regional conditions climate and soils. Therefore, this study was to evaluate the production of clones of red mombin germplasm bank of the IPA and characterize its fruits on the physico-chemical aspects at the North Forest Zone of Pernambuco, Brazil. The average annual production is 11.16 kg plant-1 with the highest result obtained by IPA clone-6 with 17.62 kg plant-1. The average weight of the fruit is 10.16 g. All clones had pulp yield around 70%. The average ratio of TSS/TTA ratio is 23.25.
